1) Mix up Orange Foundation Paint + Boltgun + Black (3:2:1), get a large brush and liberally plaster the area.

2) Drybrush Black + Boltgun over the previous layer

3) Do a very light drybrush of pure Boltgun over the raised edges and voila

For a final touch wash the crevices with Devlan Mud, followed by Badab Black.

Prime the model black. Paint the Ork skin with pure Knarloc Green Foundation Paint the mouth Hormagaunt Purple Foundation; Paint the Eye Iyanden Dark Sun Foundation Paint the teeth,nails, and bandages with Dheneb Stone Foundation Paint the metallic areas with a mix of Orange, Black and Boltgun Metal (5:1:3) Paint the gums and veins with a mix of Knarloc Green and Pink (5:1) Wash the green areas with Thrakka Green; Wash the metals and whites with Devlan Mud; Wash the mouth with Badab Black Paint the raised areas of skin with pure Knarloc Green Paint the inner raised areas with Knarloc Green + Bleached Bone (3:1) Drybrush the metals with Boltgun Metal Paint the most raised areas of skin with Knarloc Green + Bad Moon Yellow (3:1) Paint the teeth, cloth and claws with Bleached Bone, leaving some brown in the recesses; Paint a grid on the flat areas Fill the grid with grey squares; Paint a yellow dot in the center of the eye; Paint the eye lense Ice Blue Paint a White dot in the top left corner of the eye lense; Highlight the teeth and claws with Skull White ]]> http://blog.eternityofwar.com/2009/07/richyps-ork-tutorial/feed/ 0
